Namibia will be hosting the 6^th PPP Annual conference from 16^th – 17^th June 2021. Provision has been made for virtual participation. The purpose of the conference is to launch the PPP (Public Private Partnership) project pipeline by sharing information on screened and assessed projects ready to be implemented through PPP model.The conference under the theme “PPP as economic recovery and infrastructure development” will bring together national, regional and international stakeholders including senior government officials, financiers, developers, PPP operators and advisors to share experiences on PPP projects.

During the conference, seven (7) projects in the following sectors will be launched: Water (sewerage/ reclamation/ desalination), Renewable Energy (Solar Plants), Student Accommodation and Agricultural Green Schemes.

The PPP Conference is an annual platform hosted by the Ministry of Finance – since 2015. The aim of this platform is to promote discussions on PPPs and provide a rare opportunity to bring together national, regional and international stakeholders (including public sector officials, financiers, developers, PPP operators and Advisors) – to engage and provide experiences on PPPs and how Namibia can improve its PPP Agenda.
